Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence startup, xAI, has released a standalone consumer application named Grok, which grants users access to its Grok chatbot. This move represents xAI’s latest effort to bring its AI capabilities directly to consumers in an accessible format.
What does the Grok app offer?
The Grok app enables users to interact with xAI’s Grok-2 model, which is designed to answer queries, generate images, and analyze uploaded pictures to provide insightful observations. How is this app different from its earlier chatbot release?
Previously, the Grok chatbot could only be accessed through X, where it was made freely available in December to all users.
