Elaia, a leading European venture capital firm, has successfully closed its third deep tech seed fund, DTS3, at €134 million, which is noteworthy for being significantly larger than its previous funds. The fund is a collaboration with esteemed European research organizations such as PSL, INRIA, CNRS, the Barcelona Supercomputing Centre, and the Max Planck Foundation. The firm’s notable objective is to facilitate entrepreneurial advancements within deep technology by channeling substantial investment into seed-stage startups across Europe, with an emphasis on transformational innovations in various sectors. These sectors include computing, life sciences, and industrial enhancement, marking Elaia’s commitment to addressing key technological bottlenecks.
