Belgium-based startup Get Your Way, specializing in assisted reality technology, has successfully closed its second funding round, securing €850K from Industrya, Noshaq, and a private investor. The company, founded in 2019 by University of Liège students, aims to enhance practical tasks through digital overlays without fully immersing users. This investment will support the rollout of their flagship product, aRdent, and aid in the company’s market expansion efforts.
Previously, Get Your Way made significant strides in the field of assisted reality. The initial prototypes targeted athletes, and since then, the technology evolved to support various industries. Earlier funding rounds helped establish key partnerships, such as with the Walloon technology accelerator WSL. The company’s advancements have consistently received positive feedback, particularly in the healthcare and logistics sectors.
In recent developments, the company has focused on integrating their Picking-by-Vision solution in logistic operations and deploying Process Pilot software for quality control in regulated industries like aerospace and pharmaceuticals. These solutions aim to improve efficiency and accuracy in critical operational processes.
Assisted Reality Solutions for the Field
Founded by Nicolas Dessambre, Antoine Malherbe, and Pierre Jenchenne, Get Your Way initially targeted connected smart glasses for cyclists and runners. After joining VentureLab and securing funding in 2022, the company released its first product. By January 2023, their aRdent smart glasses reached MVP status, enabling successful deployments in various industries. The company specializes in Bluetooth-connected screens, offering hands-free solutions that ensure precise data entry and timely information delivery.
“The solution proposed by Get Your Way addresses a growing need for digitalisation in companies,” said Aude Somja, Investment Manager at Noshaq. “Its strength lies in remaining easy to use and seamlessly integrating into the existing environment.”
The technology has proven effective in complex fields like pharmaceuticals and aerospace. The system ensures flawless traceability of medications, as demonstrated in their collaboration with Citadelle de Liège’s pharmacy.
Funds for Growth
The newly acquired funds will be directed towards three main goals. First, the company will focus on launching aRdent and its software solutions in hospitals and pharmaceutical companies, which have already shown positive feedback. Second, Get Your Way plans to expand its team, aiming to double its workforce to integrate and develop more solutions. Lastly, the company intends to broaden its customer base by exploring industrial sectors and testing their solutions in new markets.
“We believe in this lite-tech approach where technology aligns with the real needs of users,” added Somja.
Co-founder Malherbe emphasized the importance of new hires in supporting the company’s growth. Co-founder Jenchenne noted that assessing the impact of their solutions in new markets is a vital part of their strategy.
Assisted reality technology offers practical, hands-free solutions that improve accuracy and efficiency in multiple fields. Get Your Way’s recent funding will facilitate the wider adoption of their products in critical industries, helping to bridge the gap between digital innovation and practical application. The company’s focus on ease of use and seamless integration sets them apart in the tech industry.
