FLOWIT AG, a Zürich-based coaching platform, has successfully raised CHF 4 million (approximately €4.21 million) in an oversubscribed seed funding round. This financial boost, announced on LinkedIn, aims to revolutionize the people development sector by offering digital coaching tailored specifically for non-desktop workers. The company utilizes an AI-powered platform to enhance employee engagement and business success.
Earlier this year, FLOWIT had announced partnerships to further its mission in improving workplace dynamics and employee satisfaction. These previous efforts laid the foundation for the recent funding success. FLOWIT’s innovative approach contrasts with more traditional methods, focusing on real-time feedback and continuous improvement instead of annual reviews.
Funding and Future Plans
The seed funding round was co-led by Vi Partners and Alstin Capital, managed by Carsten Maschmeyer, with additional support from investor Daniel Gutenberg. The capital will be used to scale the company’s operations, support international expansion, and increase customer value. FLOWIT plans to expand its team from 20 to 50 employees by the end of 2025.
“FLOWIT provides a platform that makes diversity and inclusion a normal part of everyday life. People are developed and promoted according to their skills and not based on gender, skin colour or other factors,” says FLOWIT.
Innovation in Employee Development
Founded in 2020 by Dr. Yasemin Tahrism, Bilâl Tahris, Hosam Shahin, and Stephan Müller, FLOWIT aims to modernize human resource practices. Its intuitive HR software adapts to the fast-changing work environment, offering tools like pulse surveys, real-time feedback, and skill management. By focusing on anonymized data and GDPR-compliant storage, FLOWIT ensures privacy and security for its users.
Since launching in September 2021, FLOWIT has helped over 70 organizations reduce turnover costs by up to 50%. Employee engagement has significantly increased in companies utilizing the platform. FLOWIT’s ethos, “FLOWIT AI – made by humans for humans,” underlines its human-centered approach.
FLOWIT’s recent funding and strategic plans position it as a strong contender in the digital coaching industry. The focus on non-desktop workers and continuous improvement sets FLOWIT apart from traditional HR solutions. Businesses looking to enhance employee satisfaction and performance may find FLOWIT’s AI-driven insights particularly valuable. As the company scales its operations and broadens its reach, it will be interesting to observe its impact on the global HR landscape.
